Hi, I'm Sarah Woodie and I have been teaching at Williams Academy since 2009.  I am originally from Charlotte, but I have lived in the mountains since 1997.  I attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where I earned a Bachelor's of Art in Studio Art/Art History. I later went back to receive my K-12 NC Art Education teaching license.  In my spare time I enjoy gardening, drawing, photography, traveling, cooking, snowboarding and spending time with my husband and our 10 year old son.  We have three dogs named Rumble, Marley and Lexi and a cat named Nala. 

A little known fact about me is that I was a snowboard instructor for 5 years before becoming a teacher.
